Batter Fried Corn On The Cob Recipe

  1. In deep fat fryer or possibly heavy saucepan, heat oil to 375 F. In medium bowl combine cornmeal, Parmesan cheese, flour, garlic salt, lowfat milk, oil, and egg; mix well.
  2. Dip corn-on-the-cob ears into cornmeal batter to coat; roll in cornflake crumbs.
  3. Fry in warm oil 2 to 3 min or possibly till lightly golden.
  4. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve immediately.
  6. Yield: 12 servings.
