Cracker BarrelTM Hash Brown. Casserole
- 26 oz frozen country -style hash browns
- 2 cup shredded Colby
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup beef stock/ broth
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 dash garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- preheat oven to 425F
- combine hash browns, cheese, and onion into large bowl.
- combine milk, beef stock, half of melted butter,garlic powder, salt and pepper into another bowl.
- mix unit we'll blended, pour mixture over hash browns, mix well.
- heat remaining butter in large oven proof skillet over high heat.
- once skillet is hot, spoon in hash brown mixture, cockle stir occasionally, until hot.
- and cheese has all melted (about 7 minutes )
- put skillet in oven and bake for 45 -60 minutes or unit surface is dark brown.
