Chinese Pepper Steaks Recipe
- 1 1/2 lbs. steak
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- 2 lg. onions, sliced
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. beef bouillon
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 4 green onions, diced
- Cut steak into 1/8 inch thick strips.
- Heat oil.
- Add in garlic salt, ginger, and pepper.
- Saute/fry till garlic is golden brown.
- Add in steak brown lightly 2 min.
- Remove meat.
- Add in green peppers, onions.
- Cook on medium high 4 to 5 min.
- Return meat to pan.
- Add in soy sauce, sugar, bouillon, cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 c. cool water.
- Simmer about 2 min till sauce thickens.
- Add in green onions.
- Serve over warm rice.
