Vanilla Pudding Cake
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 cup nuts chopped
- 1/2 cup oats, quick cooking
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 packages instant pudding mix, french vanilla
- 3 cups milk cold
- 1 x whipped cream
- Blend butter with flour, nuts and quick oats.
- Press in a 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350F (180C) F for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool.
- For second layer, mix cream cheese, whipped cream and confectioners' sugar.
- Spread over cooled crust.
- For third layer, mix both packages of pudding and cold milk.
- Spread over previous mixture evenly.
- Frost with whipped cream and grate a bit of dark chocolate (optional) across the top for effect.
- Chill for several hours.
