Bavarian Bratwurst and Apples Recipe

  1. In a large skillet, brown bratwurst in butter on all sides; remove from pan and set aside.
  2. Add onions to skillet; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add apples and brown sugar; cook 5 minutes.
  4. Remove apple slices and set aside.
  5. Add flour to skillet; cook and stir 2-3 minutes or until smooth.
  6. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
  7. Return sausages and apples to pan; bring to boil.
  8. Lower heat; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
