Shrimp Mushroom Delite Recipe
- 1 pound shrimp, cooked and cut into bite size pcs
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced and sauteed
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/4 pound extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire
- 1 teaspoon tabasco sauce
- 1/4 c. dry sherry (optional)
- Heat butter in large skillet.
- Add in flour and stir.
- Add in lowfat milk and stir till thick and smooth.
- Add in cheese and stir till smooth.
- Add in seasonings.
- Add in shrimp and mushrooms.
- Add in sherry at serving time.
- Serve on rice.
- Serves 6.
