Chili Sauce (Salsa) Recipe
- 10 c. peeled, minced tomatoes (red and yellow)
- 2 c. minced onions
- 2 c. minced bell peppers
- 1 warm pepper, minced (add in more if you like)
- 2 tbsp. salt
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 tbsp. celery salt
- Cook over moderate heat till reduced to nearly 1/2 quantity started with.
- Usually takes 2 - 2 1/2 hrs cooking time.
- Can in pint jars.
- Use in meat loaf, spaghetti sauce, lasagna, over warm dogs, hamburgers, or possibly eat with brown beans.
- (Yield 4-5 pints.)
