Sherried Mushroom au Jus
- 2 gal. Fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cups onions, chopped
- 1-1/2 cups oil
- 1 gal. beef broth
- 1 qt. Cooking sherry
- 3 cups A.1. Original Sauce
- 1/4 cup dried thyme leaves
- Saute mushrooms and onions in hot oil in medium stockpot on high heat 5 minutes.
- Add broth, sherry, steak sauce and thyme.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to medium; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve as needed.
