Vieux Carre

• Ice
• 1 ounce Cognac
• 1 ounce rye
• 1 ounce dry vermouth
• 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
• 2 dashes of Peychaud's bitters
• 1 teaspoon Benedictine
• 1 lemon twist

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the twist.
3. Shake well and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
4. Garnish with the twist.
