Extremely Simple Recipe! Western-style Okonomiyaki!
- 100 ml Cake flour
- 130 ml Water
- 1/3 tbsp Dashi stock granules
- 1/4 head Cabbage
- 1 enough to make okonomiyaki Pork meat, eggs (use whatever you like)
- 1 enough to make okonomiyaki Bonito flakes, aonori
- 1 enough to make okonomiyaki Okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise
- Whisk the cake flour in water.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan, and add in about 1 ladle worth of the batter.
- Add cabbage, pork, etc.
- on top of the batter.
- This time I used pork, shrimp, and an egg.
- Cover it with aluminum foil for 3-4 minutes, to steam-cook.
- Flip it over once the meat and eggs have warmed up.
- Cook for about 1 more minute, and it's done!
- Top with bonito flakes and aonori dried seaweed, okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, to taste and enjoy.
