Potage Du Jardin
- 2 quarts water
- 2 bouillon cubes
- 1 onion
- 1 zucchini
- 1 carrot
- 1 celery rib
- 3 cabbage leaves
- 12 cup pastina (tiny pasta)
- salt and pepper
- 6 tablespoons gruyere cheese, grated
- Cut the vegetables into small slices julienne style.
- Place the water in a soup pot.
- Add bouillon cubes and vegetables and cook over medium heat for 40 minutes.
- Add the pastina, salt and pepper.
- Continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
- Serve hot and sprinkle with grated cheese on top of each serving.
