sauerkraut potatoes spices and herbs

• 5 cup sauerkraut
• 6 large potatoes peeled washed and chopped
• 1 tbsp parsley dried
• 1 tsp whole dried oregano
• 2 tsp dried sweet basil
• 1 large onion chopped
• 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
• 2 cup water separated

1. in a pot add potatoes
2. add sauerkraut
3. add onions
4. add pepper and spices
5. add 1 cup of water
6. cook covered stir occasionally
7. when water gets low add second cup cook till potatoes are tender not mushy but done firm
8. note can be done in crockpot
