Basic Creamy Crab Dip
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice, fresh
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 (6 ounce) can canned crabmeat, drained
- 1 dash fresh parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 pinch paprika, for color on the top (optional)

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- In a medium baking dish, mash the cream cheese with the back of a spoon.
- if not soft enough microwave for 30 seconds intervals.
- Blend in the mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and green onion.
- Rinse the crab meat and check for and take out any pieces of shell.
- Distribute the crab meat evenly over the cream cheese mixture and thenmix it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Serve warm with crackers.
