Curried Satay Puffs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoon curry powder
- 250g minced beef Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
- 1 cup frozen peas, defrosted
- 1 tomato, chopped Safeway 1 lb For $1.29 thru 02/09
- 2 tablespoons KRAFT Smooth Peanut Butter
- 3 sheets ready rolled puff pastry
- 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten
- Heat a little oil in a frypan, cook onion and curry powder until onion is soft.
- Cook the beef until browned.
- Add peas, tomato and peanut butter and cook a further 3 minutes.
- Cut each sheet of pastry into four squares.
- Place heaped tablespoons of meat mixture onto pastry squares.
- Brush edges of pastry with egg and fold over to form a triangle.
- Pinch edges together to seal.
- Brush puffs with egg and bake at 210C for 20 - 25 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
