Chicken & Dumplings

  1. Place chicken and broth in large sauce pan with enough broth to cover the chicken.
  2. Bring to boil.
  3. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Add tortillas slowly.
  5. Keeping the broth mixture at a boil while adding tortillas and adding more broth.
  6. Lower heat to a slow simmer.
  7. Simmer until tortillas are tender (about 20-30 min.
  8. ).
  9. Add soup and additional broth as needed to prevent sticking and to maintain desired consistency.
  10. You can also us canned chicken for a quicker meal.
