Banana Sour Cream Bars
- 1 cup butter, softened, divided
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups mashed fully ripe bananas (about 6)
- 1 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla, divided
- 2-1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Beat 1/2 cup butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, bananas, sour cream and 1-1/2 tsp.
- vanilla; mix well.
- Mix flour and baking soda until blended.
- Gradually add to banana mixture, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour into 15x10x1-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake 20 to 25 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese, remaining butter and vanilla in separate large bowl with mixer until blended.
- Gradually beat in powdered sugar; spread over dessert.
- Sprinkle with nuts.
