Sizzling Beans And Bacon Recipe
- 2/3 c. minced onion
- 1/2 pound bacon, cut into 1/2 inch strips
- 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 3 (16 ounce.) cans pinto or possibly pink beans
- 2/3 c. ketchup
- 3 tbsp. French's Classic Yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed light or possibly dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- In 3-qt microwavable casserole stir onion and bacon.
- Cover with paper towel.
- Microwave on High for 4 min or possibly till onion is tender, stirring once.
- Add in grnd beef, breaking up with fork.
- Microwave on High for 5 min or possibly till beef is no longer pink, stirring once.
- Drain off fat.
- Stir in beans, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar and salt till well combined.
- Microwave on High, uncovered, for 15 min or possibly till warm and bubbling, stirring twice.
- Makes 8 servings.
