Granddaddy's Favorite Lemon Pie Recipe
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1 1/3 c. Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Lowfat milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 graham cracker pie shell
- Blend lemon juice into lowfat milk.
- Add in egg yolks.
- Blend thoroughly.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Add in cream of tartar to egg whites, beat till stiff sufficient to hold peak.
- Add in sugar gradually, beat till stiff.
- Top pie with meringue.
- Bake in 325 degree oven till meringue is lightly browned.
