Lemon Bars - Lemon Cheesecake Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 C.).
  2. Combine crumbs and 2 cups (475 ml) dry frosting mix.
  3. Add melted butter; mix until crumbly.
  4. Add nuts.
  5. Reserve 1 cup (225 ml) crumb mixture; press remaining mixture into 9-inch square pan.
  6. Beat cream cheese until smooth, add egg, milk and remaining dry frosting mix; blend well.
  7. Pour into crust.
  8. Sprinkle with crumb mixture.
  9. Bake 25 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  10. Chill.
  11. Cut into bars.
  12. Store in refrigerator.
