Jam Tart
- 120 g plain flour
- 120 g self rising flour
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 150 g cold butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- Sift both flour into a large bowl.
- add salt.
- add butter into flour and blend until texture looks like fine bread crumbs.
- add egg yoke and water and knead in lightly.
- let rest in refrigerator.
- roll out dough on a lightly floured surface using rolling pin.
- dough needs to be 1/2 thick.
- preheat oven to 350.
- cut out circles with cookie cutter.
- transfer to baking pan.
- spoon out jam/jelly to the middle of each dough circle.
- place in oven for 10-15 minnutes.
- take out and let cool.
- Eat!
