Boysenberry Chocolate Dessert Recipe
- 10 ounce Frzn Boysenberries, thawed
- 1 Tbsp. Confectioner's sugar
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. Boysenberry liqueur, (optional) Chocolate ice cream topping Melted white baking chocolate Toasted pecans
- Puree Boysenberries in a food processor or possibly blender.
- Strain and throw away seeds.
- Place juice and pulp in a small saucepan.
- Stir in cornstarch till it dissolves; turn heat to medium.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Boil 1 minute.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in liqueur.
- Cover and chill.
- To serve, spoon Boysenberry sauce onto serving plate.
- Place 1 slice of commercially-prepared cheesecake or possibly lb.
- cake over sauce.
- Decoratively drizzle chocolates over cake.
- Sprinkle with toasted pecans.
