Barbecued Beef Brisket Recipe
- 5-6 pound beef brisket
- Garlic salt
- Onion salt
- Celery salt
- 1 (3 1/2 ounce.) bottle liquid smoke
- Sprinkle all sides of brisket generously with the garlic salt, onion salt, and celery salt.
- Place brisket in glass dish, pour liquid smoke on meat.
- Cover and chill overnight.
- Next day: salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, 1 (18 oz) bottle barbecue sauce.
- Sprinkle meat with above ingredients and bake at 250 to 275 degrees for 5-6 hrs.
- Then pour barbecue sauce over meat.
- Bake uncovered for 1 hour more.
- Serves 12-15.
