Banana Applesauce Bread
- 3 medium bananas, mashed
- 13 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 12 cups whole wheat flour
- 23 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 23 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 12 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon table salt
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 12 cups 1% low-fat milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 10 sprays butter-flavored cooking spray
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium bowl mash bananas and set aside.
- In a large bowl add all other ingredients, and then add the mashed bananas.
- With a wire wisk combine all of the ingredients, just until moist, being careful not to over mix.
- Spray a large loaf pan (9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 2 1/4) with butter flavored cooking spray.
- Pour batter in to loaf pan and bake for 70 minutes or until done.
- The edges of bread will pull away from the sides of the pan when its done.
- Upon removing from the oven let rest for five minutes before attempting to remove the loaf from the pan.
- Cool on a rack for at least an hour.
