Delicious Strawberry Pie

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup hot water
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• Cool Whip or whipped topping
• 1 pint fresh strawberries
• 3 tablespoons strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
• 1 baked pie crust, cooled

1. Cook sugar, water and cornstarch until clear and thick.
2. Add jello and cook until jello is dissolved.
3. Place fresh strawberries, sliced in pie crust.
4. Pour jello mixture over strawberries.
5. Let cool.
6. Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream and lay 1 whole strawberry on top fo pie.
7. Refrigerate until time to serve.
