Creamy Corn Soup to Kick Start Your Day

  1. Cube the ham to 1 cm and thinly slice the onion.
  2. Put butter into a thick-bottomed pan and fry the ham and onion.
  3. When the onion has softened, turn the heat to low and mix in the flour.
  4. Fry until crispy, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Turn the heat to medium, add water and dissolve the stock cube.
  6. When it has thickened, add corn and turn up the heat to strong.
  7. Add milk.
  8. When it's boiled, season with salt and pepper.
  9. Transfer to serving bowls, sprinkle parsley, and it's done.
