Beef Stir-Fry with Broccoli and Cauliflower

  1. Heat a large nonstick saute pan over high heat.
  2. Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. When the pan is hot, add 1/2 tablespoon of the sesame oil.
  4. Add the meat and cook until it is light golden brown and still a little pink in the center, 4 minutes.
  5. Transfer the meat to a plate and tent it with foil to keep it warm.
  6. In the same pan, over high heat, add the remaining 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil.
  7. When the oil is hot, add the onion, broccoli, and cauliflower.
  8. Stir-fry the vegetables until they are almost tender, about 6 minutes.
  9. Add the Asian sauce and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  10. Add the meat and cook to warm it through.
  11. When the mixture is hot, stir in the cilantro.
  12. Season with salt and pepper to taste, if desired, and serve.
