Pine Cone Cheese Spread Appetizer
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, At Room Temperature
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Or Colby Jack Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 3 Tablespoons Jalapeno Peppers, Chopped
- Pretzel Crisps Or Crackers (to Serve)
- 13 cups Sliced Almonds
- Place cream cheese, cheese, mustard, and peppers in a food processor and process until well blended.
- Place on a piece of plastic wrap.
- Shape into a 4 inch tall oval that has a pine cone shape.
- Insert almonds in rows to completely cover cheese mixture.
- Loosely wrap it and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve as a spread with crackers or pretzel crisps.
