Beer Chili & Cheese Dogs

  1. In a large pot over medium high heat, allow the olive oil to get hot but not smoking.
  2. Add the onions and cook until opaque, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and the beef and cook until the beef is cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients (other than the hot dogs and buns) and allow to cook until thickened, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
  5. Place warm hot dogs in buns.
  6. Spoon chili over warm hot dog.
  7. (Top with cheese, if desired.)
  8. Enjoy with a cold beer.
