Fleming's Chocolate Pecan Pie
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. bourbon
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 3 tbsp. molasses
- 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 9-inch pie shell
- Whipped cream, for garnish
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Beat the butter and sugar until very light.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add salt, vanilla, bourbon, corn syrup and molasses.
- Blend well.
- Sprinkle the flour over the pecans, then toss the pecans and chocolate chips into the filling.
- Turn into pie shell and bake 35 minutes.
- Serve with whipped cream.
