Fluffy, Soft, and Chewy Mild Tasting Steam Buns

  1. Combine the cake flour and baking powder in a bowl, then mix with a whisk.
  2. Stir in the sugar, too.
  3. Add all of the ingredients to the bowl, and whisk it all together.
  4. Fill aluminum cups with the batter, then set them into a pot or frying pan filled with 2 cm water.
  5. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat.
  6. Steam for 10 minutes, then serve.
  7. I put aluminum cups in cocottes filled them.
  8. Cookpad user "Happy Kame-kame" used a steamer to make these.
  9. Using a steamer takes more time, so use a skewer to test them.
