Slow-Cooker Taco Soup
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 package Taco Seasoning, 1 Ounce Packet
- 1 can (15.5-ounce Size) Chili Beans
- 1 can (15.5-ounce Size) Black Beans
- 1 can (10-ounce Size) Tomatoes With Green Chiles
- 2 cans (15.5-ounce Size) Vegetable Broth
- 1 can (15.5-ounce Size) Corn
- 1/2 cans (15.5-ounce Size) Tomato Sauce
- 1 package (approximately 12 Ounce Size) Vegetarian Chik'n Strips
- Now, here is where the recipe gets really, really complicated.
- Pay close attention lest you do this out of order:
- Add all of the ingredients into the crockpot, put the lid on, turn it on low, and walk away for the workday (about 8 or so hours).
- Come back, inhale the great aroma of a fully-cooked soup, and eat.
- Garnish with a little cheese or sour cream if you like, and add a drop or two (or 20) of hot sauce if the spirit moves you.
- In that order.
- And enjoy, for goodness sake!
