Sauerkraut and Bacon Salad
- 2 cups CLAUSSEN Sauerkraut, drained
- 1 cup thinly sliced carrots King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup chopped green peppers
- 1/2 cup chopped red peppers
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 12 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- Mix sauerkraut, carrots, celery, onions and peppers in large bowl; set aside.
- Beat sugar and oil with wire whisk until well blended.
- Pour over sauerkraut mixture; mix lightly.
- Cover.
- Refrigerate several hours to marinate.
- Cook bacon in large skillet on medium heat until crisp, turning occasionally.
- Drain.
- Sprinkle over salad just before serving.
