Sauerkraut and Bacon Salad

  1. Mix sauerkraut, carrots, celery, onions and peppers in large bowl; set aside.
  2. Beat sugar and oil with wire whisk until well blended.
  3. Pour over sauerkraut mixture; mix lightly.
  4. Cover.
  5. Refrigerate several hours to marinate.
  6. Cook bacon in large skillet on medium heat until crisp, turning occasionally.
  7. Drain.
  8. Sprinkle over salad just before serving.
