Pfitzauf

  1. Combine the flour, milk, eggs, salt, and a little sugar (if desired), and stir into a dough.
  2. Mix in the melted butter.
  3. Grease a Pfitzauf pan and fill halfway up with the dough.
  4. Bake in a hot oven for 25 minutes until light brown, without opening the oven door to check!
  5. The Pfitzauf gets dusted with sugar and is served with stewed fruit.
