Herbal White Sangria

  1. Stir together sugar and water in a bowl until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Crush grapes in a 2 quarts (1900 ml) pitcher or bowl with a potatoe masher.
  3. Add sugar syrup and remaining ingredients.
  4. Steep covered, and chilled, at least 8 hours.
  5. Pour sangria through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean pitcher.
  6. Serve over ice.
