Bitter Melon Side Dish

  1. Remove the with pith of the bitter lemon with a spoon, and slice it as thinly as possible.
  2. Boil water in a pot and then add the bitter lemon.
  3. Boil briefly before draining in a colander.
  4. Squeeze out excess water with your hands.
  5. Mix the ingredients, and add the goya.
  6. Once it's well mixed, chill in the fridge.
  7. When it's chilled, top with bonito flakes and serve.
