Our Family's Toasted Onigiri

  1. Mix the ingredients for the sauce.
  2. In a bowl, mix the hot cooked rice with the sauce made in Step 1.
  3. Form into preferred shapes.
  4. Align on parchment paper and cook for 6 minutes in a toaster oven or baking oven (preheated to 220 C / 428 F).
  5. Flip over for another 6 minutes.
  6. Toast both sides for an additional 4 minutes to finish.
  7. We usually freeze this and microwave when we feel like eating them.
  8. Enjoy for breakfast, midnight snack, or just for snacking.
