Homemade Yakitori Sauce
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 3 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tbsp Water
- 1 Katakuriko slurry
- Add all of the ingredients, except for the katakuriko slurry to a frying pan and cook.
- Bring to a slight boil, until the sugar dissolves.
- Pour in katakuriko slurry to thicken.
- Dip both sides of your yakitori in the sauce, put on a serving plate, then spoon some of the sauce on top.
