Barbequed Polish Sausage Recipe
- 2 lbs. Polish sausage (kielbasa)
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/2 c. maple syrup
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. mustard
- 2 med. onions, minced coarsely
- Cut sausage into bite sized pcs.
- Place in 9"x13" pan; sprinkle onion over sausage.
- Combine all remaining ingredients and pour over sausage.
- Bake at 300 degrees for two hrs, turning sausage over every 30 min for even browning.
- Remove from oven and pour over any grease.
- Lower oven temperature to 250 degrees and bake for another two hrs (turning periodically) or possibly till sauce is thickened.
- This makes a real hit!
