Western Baked Jalapeno Poppers
- 1 cup Crusty Bread, Cubed
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 13 cups Cream Cheese
- 13 cups Sharp Cheddar, Grated
- 3 whole Jalapenos, Halved Lengthwise And Seeded
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Toss bread crumbs with olive oil and spread on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Once cooled, pulse in a food processor or blender until it has a coarse breadcrumb consistency.
- Increase oven temperature to 400 degrees F. Whisk onion powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, chili powder, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix spices with cream cheese and cheddar.
- Halve jalapenos lengthwise, remove seeds, and spread cream cheese mixture down the center.
- Dip cream cheese side into bread crumbs and place on a greased baking sheet, cream cheese side up.
- Bake 1012 minutes, until cheese is bubbly.
