Crispy Popcorn Chicken with Honey Mustard
- Chicken (Enough For About 4 Servings), Cut Into Bite-sized Pieces
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 cup Wheat Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Paprika
- 2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Basil
- 1 Tablespoon Oregano
- Oil (I Used Canola)
- Honey, To Taste
- Mustard, To Taste (about Same Amount As Honey)
- Mayonnaise, To Taste (about Twice The Amount Of Mustard)
- Okay, its truly this easy ...
- Popcorn Chicken:
- Heat oil in skillet over medium high or if using a deep fryer, heat it to 375 degrees.
- Mix flour and spices (vary spices up to your liking, although I do suggest keeping the paprika and salt!)
- Dip chicken in milk and then in the flour to coat.
- Letting the chicken soak in the milk will produce even better results, but its certainly not a requirement!
- Throw your battered chicken in to the deep fryer for about 5 minutes, or cook in a skillet for about 2 minutes on each side.
- Take out, add some more salt, and gobble gobble!
- OH WAIT, dont eat it yet!!
- You forgot to make the honey mustard!
- Honey Mustard:
- Add honey, mustard, and mayo to a bowl and adjust to your liking.
- I usually like equal parts of honey and mustard, and about twice as much mayo, but this is up to you!
- Its almost TOO easy to even list!
- Enjoy, and please let me know how you liked it!
