Time To Spare Ribs Recipe
- 1 lg. size (14 x 20 inch) Reynolds Cooking Bag
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. your favorite barbecue sauce
- 1/2 c. onion, minced
- 1/2 c. green pepper, minced
- 3 lbs. pork spareribs, fat trimmed
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Shake flour in large cooking bag.
- Place in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
- Roll down top of bag.
- Add in barbecue sauce, onion and green pepper.
- Squeeze bag gently to blend ingredients.
- Cut ribs in serving size pcs; place in bag.
- Turn bag gently to coat ribs with sauce.
- Arrange ribs in an even layer.
- Unroll bag and close with nylon tie; make 6 half-inch slits in top.
- Cook 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till tender.
- NOTE: Sauce will cause inside of bag to darken in color.
- This is a normal reaction and does not indicate burning.
- Makes 4 servings.
- This is my favorite Barbecue Sauce: 2 tbsp.
- cider vinegar 1 teaspoon salt 1 c. water 2 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon dry mustard 1 1/2 tbsp.
- Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
- Combine all ingredients.
