Chick N Dumpling Bake Recipe
- 3 c. cubed chicken or possibly turkey, cooked
- 1 (4 ounce.) can mushroom stems and pcs, liquid removed
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 2 (10 3/4 ounce.) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- In large saucepan, combine all filling ingredients, simmer while preparing topping.
- Lightly spoon pancake mix into measuring c.; level off.
- In medium bowl, combine all topping ingredients EXCEPT cheese, blend well.
- Stir in cheese.
- Pour warm chicken mix into ungreased 12 x 8 inch (2 qt) baking dish or possibly shallow 2 qt casserole.
- Spoon topping over chicken mix.
- Bake at 375 degrees, uncovered, for 20 to 30 min or possibly till golden.
- (Place casserole on foil or possibly cookie sheet to guard against spillage.)
- Serve immediately.
- 5 servings.
