Mello Jell-O Shot

  1. Heat 1 cup Midori with 3 sheets gelatin until dissolved.
  2. Cool.
  3. Add remaining Midori.
  4. For each drink, pour 1 1/2 ounces into a cordial glass.
  5. Leave 20 minutes in freezer.
  6. Blend 1 cup watermelon juice with 1/2 cup simple syrup and 5 sheets gelatin.
  7. Heat until dissolved.
  8. Cool.
  9. Add remaining watermelon juice and vodka.
  10. Pour 1 1/2 ounces to fill each glass.
  11. Dried currants soaked in creme de cassis can be added before it sets.
