Honey-Broiled Figs with Ricotta
- 1 cup fresh ricotta
- 2 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling
- 12 large Black Mission figs, halved
- Preheat the broiler and position a rack 6 inches from the heat.
- In a food processor, combine the ricotta with the 2 tablespoons of honey and puree until very smooth.
- Arrange the figs cut side up on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Dollop 2 teaspoons of the ricotta puree on each fig and lightly drizzle with honey.
- Broil for about 2 minutes, until just browned in spots and the ricotta is barely melted; serve warm or at room temperature.
