Honey-Broiled Figs with Ricotta

  1. Preheat the broiler and position a rack 6 inches from the heat.
  2. In a food processor, combine the ricotta with the 2 tablespoons of honey and puree until very smooth.
  3. Arrange the figs cut side up on a rimmed baking sheet.
  4. Dollop 2 teaspoons of the ricotta puree on each fig and lightly drizzle with honey.
  5. Broil for about 2 minutes, until just browned in spots and the ricotta is barely melted; serve warm or at room temperature.
