Marsala Poached Figs with Ricotta

  1. Add figs, marsala wine and honey in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until the figs soften and the wine is syrupy.
  3. Mix together ricotta, sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl.
  4. Divide among 4 serving bowls and spoon the fig mixture over the ricotta mixture.
  5. Sprinkle toasted almonds on top.
  6. Serve.
