Ginger Soy Pan Fried Squid
- 1 pound Squid Tubes And Tentacles, Tubes Sliced Into 1" Rings
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 whole Red Onion, Diced Small
- 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Ginger, Peeled And Diced Finely
- 2 Tablespoons Tamari Soya Sauce
- 1/4 slices Lime
- Wash, rinse and clean squid tubes and tentacles.
- Slice squid tubes into 1 rings.
- Heat butter and olive oil in saute pan on medium high heat.
- Once butter has melted, add onion and saute until translucent.
- Add minced garlic to pan and add squid to pan.
- Saute squid for a couple of minutes until just cooked through.
- You do not want to overcook the squid as it will become tough.
- Remove the squid, set aside and keep warm.
- To the saute pan with the onion and garlic, add ginger, tamari soya sauce, and squeezed lime slice.
- Cook for 1 minute and then add the squid and cook for another minute until sauce smothers the squid.
- Serve immediately.
