Maple Walnut Fudge
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 (12-ounce) package white baking chips
- 1 1/2 teaspoons maple flavoring
- 50 walnut halves or pieces
- Line 13 x 9-inch pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over edges.
- Set aside.
- Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt in heavy-duty saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil.
- Boil, stirring constantly, 4-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in marshmallows, nuts, white baking chips and maple flavoring.
- Stir 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.
- Pour into prepared baking pan.
- Place nut halves in rows on top of fudge, spacing about 1/2 inch apart.
- Press nuts into fudge.
- Cover; refrigerate until firm.
- Lift fudge out of pan using foil ends.
- Remove foil; cut into squares.
