Asian Beef and Broccoli
- 1 12 chuck steaks, boneless, thinly sliced (about 1 1/2 inches thick)
- 1 (284 ml) can beef consomme
- 12 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 (450 g) bag fresh broccoli florets
- hot cooked rice
- sesame seeds
- Place steaks in slow cooker.
- Pour consomme and oyster sauce over beef.
- Cover, cool on low for 6-7 hours.
- Combine cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of the cooking liquid in a cup.
- Add to slow cooker.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cover; cook for 25 minutes longer or until thickened.
- Poke holes in broccole bag with fork.
- Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
- Empty bag into slow coker.
- Gently toss beef and broccoli together.
- Serve over cooked rice.
- Garnish with sesame seeds.
