JELL-O Jadoo Kheer
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg. (85 g) Jell-O Strawberry Jelly Powder
- 1 can (370 mL) evaporated milk
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cardamom
- 1 banana, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup finely chopped peeled apples King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.87 thru 02/09
- Add boiling water to jelly powder in bowl; stir 2 min.
- until completely dissolved.
- Pour into 8-inch square dish.
- Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
- Meanwhile, bring milk and sugar to boil in saucepan, stirring occasionally; simmer on medium heat 5 min.
- or until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Stir cardamom into milk mixture.
- Cut jelly into 1-inch squares; stir into milk mixture with fruit just before serving.
