Pico de Gallo
- 6 md. ripe tomatoes
- 2 md. green tomatoes
- tomatilloes
- 1 md. onion
- 3 md. bell peppers
- 1 cup parsley
- cilantro
- 1/2 lemon, juice of
- Crushed red pepper
- hot sauce to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chop all ingredients by hand in small pieces to keep a great rustic look to the salad.
- Add lemon juice, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes (I prefer dried cayenne peppers milled in the spice mill).
